Centenary Celebrations
The Andrew Lodge No. 3328 of the Eccles and District Group of Lodges, held their 100 years of Masonry Celebration on Friday 26th September 2008.
The venue was Swinton Masonic Hall and it was the first official engagement for the newly invested RW Provincial Grand Master, Bro. Peter John Hosker, and his Provincial Team.

During the Centenary Ceremony, W.Bro. Peter Kendrick Cresswell was promoted to the rank of Past Provincial Grand Superintendent of Works and a cheque for £3328 (the Lodge number) was presented to the Provincial Grand Master as a donation to the 2010 Festival.
Andrew Lodge No. 3328 has, like many other Lodges, been through both good and bad times during its 100 years of existence, but by the hard work and foresight of its members and holding non-Masonic events where the general public could visit the Lodge Room, and by answering their questions where possible, it has helped to remove the ‘secret society’ stigma which unfortunately still exists in some parts.
The Lodge has become a thriving and vibrant place, with many young members with young ideas who are a credit to Masonry.
The Celebration Banquet was a sumptuous affair, which reflected all the efforts of all Andrew Lodge members during the past six years, in raising the funds enabling them to finance such a grand occasion. The event will be remembered for a long time by all the Brethren who attended.
The last line in the Lodge history booklet described, in a few words, the feelings generated by this wonderful day.
