Trafford Park Broadoak Lodge No. 4486
The first Installation of the amalgamated Trafford Park Broadoak Lodge No. 4486 was the first of the new season within the Group. It was also the last occasion on which W.Bro. Geoffrey Bloch PSGD, APrGM would attend within the Group in that capacity.
At the Festive Board tributes were paid to him by the Group Chairman W. Bro. Stuart Shea PAGDC thanking W.Bro. Bloch for his input into the Group.
The main participant in the Installation is, of course, the Brother being installed, on this occasion Bro. Graham Alan Oakley, who was presented as Master Elect by his father W.Bro. Thomas Norman Oakley PPrJGW and installed by his younger brother W.Bro. David John Oakley PPrAGDC. To complete a family gathering the Master's brother in law, an East Lancashire Mason, Bro. Patrick Wynne was present.
During the evening cheques totalling £1900.00 were presented to benefit a number of local charities and the 2010 Festival.
